Welcome to Rozh Frames!
I’m Rozh, a full-time consultant surgeon with a doctoral degree in surgical science. My professional life revolves around treating gallstone diseases, where precision, structure, and meticulous attention to detail are paramount. Beyond the operating room, I have a deep passion for macrophotography, a love for creating and crafting with wood, and a growing focus on design and 3D-printed objects. This blend of science, art, and craftsmanship shapes who I am and how I see the world.
My Background
Professional Life
As a consultant surgeon specializing in gallstone diseases, I dedicate my professional life to providing the highest level of care to my patients. My doctoral degree in surgical science has equipped me with advanced knowledge and skills, allowing me to tackle complex medical challenges with precision and expertise. The disciplined, detail-oriented nature of surgery has profoundly influenced how I approach all creative work—where planning, accuracy, and respect for structure are essential.
Passion for Woodworking
When I’m not in the operating room or behind the camera, I find balance and focus in woodworking. Crafting with wood allows me to express creativity through physical materials and traditional techniques. Designing and building something tangible from raw materials is deeply fulfilling and complements my scientific background with a hands-on, tactile form of craftsmanship.
Macrophotography
Photography, especially macrophotography, is a significant part of my creative life. What began as a hobby has grown into a long-term passion. I am drawn to the intricate patterns, textures, and colors of the natural world—details that often go unnoticed at first glance.
My photographic work primarily focuses on:
- Nature: The delicate structures and vibrant hues of plants and flowers
- Fungi: The hidden, often overlooked world of fungi with their unique forms
- Waterdrops and splashes: Capturing fleeting moments and complex reflections created by water in motion
Macrophotography mirrors both surgery and craftsmanship: it requires patience, control, and an appreciation for subtle detail.
Design and 3D-printed Creations
In recent years, my creative work has expanded into design and 3D-printed objects. Through digital modeling and additive manufacturing, I create small-batch, made-to-order pieces that sit at the intersection of anatomy, form, and function.
Many of these designs are inspired directly by my medical background—organic shapes, anatomical structures, and functional forms translated into tangible objects. Others explore minimalism, materiality, and everyday usability. Like surgery, photography, and woodworking, 3D printing demands careful planning, structural understanding, and precision, making it a natural extension of my creative process.
Each piece is thoughtfully designed and produced with care, embracing the subtle variations that come with modern digital craftsmanship.
My Approach
Across surgery, photography, woodworking, and digital design, my approach remains consistent: thoughtful creation guided by precision and curiosity. I enjoy exploring new perspectives, refining details, and transforming complex structures—whether anatomical or natural—into meaningful visual or physical forms.

Personal Philosophy
I believe there is beauty in the smallest elements of our world. Whether in the precision of surgery, the creativity of woodworking, the detail of macrophotography, or the structure of a 3D-printed object, my goal is always the same: to reveal form, function, and beauty through careful observation and thoughtful creation.
